Taberna Maceiras, un rincón gallego en Madrid. Con tapas y raciones excelentes, un ambiente muy particular con mesas y bancos de madera, mucha gente y musica gallega de fondo, el servicio no es el mejor los fines de semana por la cantidad de gente que va, pero tiene un ejercito de mujeres con cara de malas por el agobio bastante divertidas.
Los precios muy razonables, sobre todo si se va en grupos. Altamente recomendados el pulpo a la gallega, las navajas, las bravas y el arros a la gallega, acompañados con un Ribeira o un Alvarinho.
Recomendable ir con tiempo y no muy tarde pues no se puede reservar.
Taberna Maceiras, is a Galician corner in Madrid. With an excellent variety oftapas and raciones in a very peculiar athmosphere, rustic wooden tables, a lot of people and galician and celtic background music make it a fun place to visit. The service is not great during the weekends due to the huge amount of people but the amusing army of bitter-faced women that serve you make it a worthwhile expericence.
The prices are very reasonable, especially if you go in a group. Highly recommended the “pulpo a la gallega”, the “navajas”, the brave potatoes and the gallegan style rice. Must be accompanied by a Ribeira or Alvarinho white wine.
Go with some time in advanced and not to late.
